General Information

These terms and conditions apply when accessing the Faux website, shopping online or browsing the Faux website. This website is managed by Faux. The terms ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ ‘site’ refer to Faux. The terms ‘you’, ‘your’ ’user’ and ‘Customer’ refers to anyone who accesses the website. Accessing the website implies that you accept all terms, conditions, policies and notices provided therein. By browsing our site or by placing an order you automatically agree to all terms & conditions detailed below.

Our Website

We try to make sure that all the content on our website including descriptions and prices are accurate at all times. However, we reserve the right to amend or remove any information, prices or products at any time without prior notice.

Pictures and images on our website are for illustration purposes only. As each arrangement is made by hand the one you receive may vary from the image shown. The colours of images and products on our website may vary depending on the type of device you are using to view the site. Please read the arrangement descriptions carefully for full details of each product.

Orders

Once you place an order with us, you will be automatically sent a confirmation email. This contains all relevant information about your order. Acceptance of your order only takes place when it has been despatched to you. Until this point we reserve the right to cancel the order for any reason, and at any time. In the unlikely event that this happens we will let you know as soon as is reasonably possible.

Payment

Our payments are processed by Stripe & PayPal. All major credit & debit cards are accepted. Please supply an accurate billing address and postcode when prompted. We cannot be held responsible for any failed card transactions due to incorrect billing addresses.

Payment for your order is processed automatically, and therefore this does not confirm that we have accepted your order. If for any reason we are unable to accept your order, we will contact you and provide you with a full refund within 14 days.

Delivering Your Order

To be able to deliver your order, we require specific information to allow us to hand the package over to our chosen courier service. A full postal address and a telephone contact number is required. If the information you provide is not accurate we are not liable for any non-delivery or loss of items.

Your order should reach you in perfect condition, however when your order arrives, please check the packaging for major external defects and if any are found, please take photo’s as a record. These may be required later for us to facilitate a claim against the courier service that delivered your package. Open your package as soon as possible and if the damage has reached the contents, please take photo’s and contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Please unpack your package carefully. Any damage sustained to the product during the unpacking process cannot be accepted as a reason to return the item/s as faulty.

Damaged or Faulty Goods

We check all of our products prior to shipping to ensure there are no defects, however if in the unlikely event there is damage or a fault with your order, please take photo’s and contact us within 14 days of delivery. Once we re-receive the damaged/faulty goods, we will attempt to provide you with a like-for-like replacement, and if this is not possible, we will offer you either store credit for the full amount you paid or provide a full refund.

Returns

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you may return it for a full refund within 14 days of receipt. Please contact us and we will provide the information on how to do this (please note: all return postage costs are the customers responsibility). Returned items must be fully re-packaged (no less than that of the original packaging), and in perfect condition, suitable for us to resell at full retail value. If the items are handled or re-packaged by you (the customer) in a way which effects it’s resale value, we have the right to either refuse the return or provide a refund with a reduction proportionate to its future resale value. This value is decided by us on a case by case basis and is not negotiable. 

All our items leave us in perfect condition, however if you need to return an item because of damage sustained during transit, then we will attempt to provide you with a like-for-like replacement, and if this is not possible a full refund will be issued. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery with detailed photo’s of the damaged items.

Please Note: Return delivery costs are the responsibility of the customer and non-refundable.

Exclusions

There are certain circumstances, where at our sole discretion we are not able to accept returns, cancel orders or offer a refund unless the product(s) is faulty (or unless there is any other breach of your statutory rights). These exclusions are as follows:

  • where you do not have proof of purchase;

  • where the product(s) are returned without full packaging;

  • where the product(s) are not returned in a saleable condition;

  • where we have reason to believe the product(s) was damaged by the customer;

  • to which the exclusions in regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, apply.

Where you buy as a consumer, these general terms and conditions and the returns policy will not affect your rights under law which cannot be otherwise excluded. For more information contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau. 

Our liability

Our entire liability to you under these general terms and conditions and returns policy shall not exceed the price paid for the goods you have purchased from us provided that we take reasonable care when we deliver the goods to you.

We will not be liable to you for any loss of revenue, profits, anticipated savings, goodwill or business opportunity, for any physical injury to you, injury to your reputation or for any losses that are not reasonably foreseeable by both of us at the time your purchase is made or your order is accepted.
